Jenna Densten 


Interior Designer – Visual Merchandiser

Jenna Started her career in Interiors 7 years ago as a contestant on Tv show ‘ The Block.’ Since then Jenna has had an amazing career, working as a visual merchandiser for Cotton On, starting Bicker, an Interior Design studio with her partner Josh and most importantly founding Design School! Melissa Chatfield

Interior Decorator – Stylist

Mel has always loved the world of interiors and has been involved in building and renovating homes for over a decade.   Her interest sparked when renovating her own home.  Deciding to go to school and learn the essentials of Interior Decoration is what lead Mel to being a part of one of our first classes run at Design School! Since completing her studies with us she has gone on to start her own successful business, Charchi.  Mel has also recently written articles for Dulux in the weekend Domain home magazine and the Plyroom Journal which she loves as she is very passionate about sharing her knowledge.  As a charismatic creative you wont see Mel without a smile on her face or a willingness to help anyone. Larissa Vendramini

Interior Designer – Copywriter

Larissa has a strong background working collaboratively with the wider design community. In 2015 she established her own small business LV & Co. with a focus on styling services and creative content development, merging her love of all things design in both space and print. With a passion for soft furnishings and experience with fabrics and furniture, her maximalist style has been complimentary to a variety of creative projects, from designing bespoke furnishings to lending a styling hand for spring racing marquees during the Melbourne Cup Carnival! Tim Neve

Interior Stylist – Author

Tim is a well-known stylist in the Australian interior design industry. From editorial shoots to decorated interiors, his work has been published and profiled in print and online, from Architectural Digest internationally to Adore Magazine locally. He is the author of a 272-page hardcover book (Sandcastles, Murdoch Books) which received warm reviews worldwide. Tim is also a textile designer, his prints have been produced into linen homewares stocked around Australia by leading design retailers including Jumbled, The Block Shop and Oz Design furniture. Tim loves teaching, especially the Certificate IV Interior Decoration, where we get hands-on with styling, fabrics and materials boards. For the past five years, he has taught for some of Australia’s top design institutions – but is most thrilled to join the Design School team! You can follow Tim here: @timneve

Melissa Bailey

Interior Stylist – Consultant

Seven years ago, Melissa made a bold move leaving a legal role to pursue where her heart lay- design. She has worked across a number of creative industries including residential interior decoration and styling; visual merchandising and floral and event styling. Always wanting to know the ‘why’ Melissa decided she best invest in some study and enrolled at, well, we’ll give you one guess! Since becoming a Design School graduate, Melissa has worked and collaborated as a shoot stylist with fellow Design School graduates and local Melbourne stylists with some of her work featuring in Green Magazine and The Local Project. She also uses her knowledge and expertise in property styling to consult with real estate agents and vendors about key styling aspects when selling a home. A keen writer, Melissa has also written articles and blog pieces for BuildHer Collective and on behalf of Mahlia Interiors for Interior’s Addict.She is absolutely thrilled to be part of the team at Design School, just look for the kind welcoming smile!
